Drip mode is a method of sending out your messages at a controlled pace rather than all at once. This pacing is deliberate, for example, sending one message every 3 minutes. This method helps manage the flow of communication in a way that:

Prevents Carrier Flagging: Sending messages at a regulated pace helps avoid triggering spam filters used by carriers. Rapid, bulk sending can often be flagged as spam, leading to blocked messages and potential penalties. Using drip mode helps ensure your messages reach your audience as intended, maintaining compliance with carrier standards.
Prevents Overload: Both on your business operations and the recipient’s end, managing how information is received and processed.

Increasing Your Message Limit: A2P Registration

Before A2P Approval: You are limited to a lower rate of sending messages.
After A2P Approval: Once approved for A2P, you can increase your message-sending capacity significantly—to 3,000 to 5,000 messages per day in drip mode.
What is A2P? A2P is a registration process required by carriers to ensure that businesses sending bulk messages are verified and compliant with regulations. This process helps maintain the quality and reliability of mass messaging services.

Notification of A2P Approval

Approval Notification: You will receive an email from our team informing you that you have been approved for A2P.
Post-Approval: Once approved, you can adjust the pacing rate of your messages. For example, you might choose to send 50 messages every 30 minutes if you need to send 100 messages per hour.

NOTE: Approval turn-around time is typically around 3 to 4 weeks, depending on TextGrid's volume of submissions. Rest assured, we will constantly monitor your status and notify you via email as soon as your approval is confirmed.
